Crimson Moonlight (SE) and Nemesea (NL) are confirmed for Brainstorm Festival 2012. This cultural rock- and metalfestival takes place Friday 2 and Saturday 3 November in club Gigant in the city Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. It’s the fifth anniversary for the festival, that will have a total of 15 international bands playing.
Crimson Moonlight directly had their breakthrough in the black-death metalscene after their debut-cd ‘The Covenant Progress’ (2003). Shows all over Europe followed, but after the release of ‘Veil Of Remembrance’ (2005) the band became less active. Recently Crimson Moonlight decided to strike back again, and Brainstorm Festival is one of the festivals that’s lucky enough to confirm this Swedish metal assault!
Nemesea is known for being the first band collecting 50.000 US Dollar through sellaband.com to release an album. Recently they had their final breakthrough with the release of ‘The Quiet Resistance’ (2011) by German based Napalm Records. Currently the band is leading the Indie Charts in Holland with the single ‘Afterlife’. Nemesea combines symphonic gothic-metal with electronic music, appealing to a wide range of rock- and metalfans.
Brainstorm Festival is known as an independent cultural rock- and metalfestival, that provides a stage to both new talent as well as metal-dinosaurs. The festival combines hardrock with extreme metal. Besides concerts Brainstorm Festival offers a program in the theater of the club with acoustic performances, interviews, debate and competitions. Also there is an exposition taking place each year, plus a small metal-market.
