“An Unbroken Threnody: 2005 – 2015” is a remastered compilation of some of the highlights from ten years of My Silent Wake (MSW) which will be released on Feb. 8 on cd and digital through Stone Groove Records.
An exquisite collection from one of the UK’s most undervalued bands. This retrospective proves one thing; My Silent Wake are over a decade into a career that has unveiled an astonishing array of releases, 13 songs chosen by them covering the whole career of the band, plus nearly 2 hours worth of bonus material for download. 6 panel CD digipack format with artwork by Matthew Vickerstaff; almost 80 mins of MSW from 2005 to 2015; a message by Ian Arkley; band line-up info and access to bonus material.
As previously reported, MSW are now on the management roster of Imperative PR who promoted last year’s release: “Damnatio Memoriae.”
The band have recently recruited keyboard player Simon Bibby from Seventh Angel, the band from whose ashes My Silent Wake were first formed. This is the first time in their history that My Silent Wake have had a dedicated keyboard player in their ranks and Simon’s arrival opens even more doors for the band,particularly in terms of their live performance. With Imperative PR by their side and their line-up complete, My Silent Wake can begin a whole new chapter in the band’s history…and we confidently predict that wonders await.
