The organization of Brainstorm Festival have announced one additional act for the upcoming festival, cover-band Pene Corrida (or as they decribes them self ‘popmusic on steroids’).
Also confirmed for this year’s festival are: Orphaned Land (IS), War of Ages (USA), Gloryhammer [UK], Crimson Moonlight (S), The 11th Hour (NL) & Safe Mode (S), La Ventura (NL), Premnath (NL) and Despicable Heroes [NL]. In total 10 bands will be featured mainstage, plus several extra shows will take place in the theater of the festival.
With Pene Corrida, the line-up is almost complete now, a replacement for Veni Domine who cancelled their show earlier today, will be announced soon.As an experiment, this year the festival is only one day instead of two. Brainstorm Festival will be held on November 8th. as usual in the Gigant, Apeldoorn.Netherlands.

Pene Corrida is a notorious gang filled with crooks and thugs, consisting of 6 mexicans from the toughest of times; the wild west. The prohibition in the 1920’s forced the gang to continue their journeys of theft and robbery’s in a little country called the Netherlands, their business did not do well here.
While they spent numerous evenings in cafés and bars, the gang stumbled upon something called ‘Top40-muziek’.
After drinking too much Corona, a few shots of tequila and a wrong exit got them stranded in the middle of a metal festival. Surrounded by metal, they couldn’t help but think about a better future filled with a high percentage of tequila in their blood and lots of pop music.
With only a few cents in their pocket and no jobs these guys thought that it was about time for a revolution. Their hearts filled with passion and their wallets filled with only but the leather inside, they’re willing to violently wake up the current pop industry with canon shots and subsonic noise that will leave no cactus standing
