The first bands for the annual Elements of Rock have been announced, Jacobs Dream (USA), Polution (CH) & The Malice (SE/DE). The Malice feat. Claudio Enzler, Sacrificium, Hubertus Liljegren, ex-Sanctifica, ex-Crimson Moonlight). More names will be announced in the next months.
The 13th edition of EoR will be held on March 18-20. 2016. As usual in Stadthofsaal, Uster, Switzerland. It is still far away, but mark your calendar.
Jacobs Dream is a band that has long been known for its intelligent lyrics and its powerful melodic Metal music. First appearing on the International scene in 2000, the band released it’s first three albums on “Metal Blade Records”. “Jacobs Dream” (Self Titled) 2000, “Theater of War” 2001 and “Drama of the Ages” 2005. After leaving Metal Blade, Jacobs Dream released one independent album called “Dominion of Darkness” in 2008. Then in 2009 the band released it’s latest album “Beneath the Shadows” on “Retroactive Records” along with it’s first ever music video ‘Welcome to my World’. The video can be seen below.

Elements of Rock is a metal festival, held annually since 2004 in Uster, Zurich in Switzerland. On two concert evenings there is a diverse international lineup of metal bands with a positive reference to the Christian faith. In addition to the concert evenings there is a separate, voluntary & free daily program of worship & seminars etc. The Festival has each day between 400-550 paying visitors. Support of Elements of Rock is an eponymous association based in Uster ZH. A five-member, voluntarily dedicated organizing committee took over the reins of the festival. Countless other volunteers make the festival possible.
