Crimson Thorn Are Set to Unleash “Unearthed” (Remixed and Remastered) – Unearthed Video Released

Formed back at the dawn of the ‘90s through a chance meeting at a Barren Cross concert, Minneapolis based Crimson Thorn went on to release three highly regarded albums of potent, dynamic death metal – beginning with ‘94s classic debut, Unearthed. Now signed to extreme metal powerhouse Rottweiler Records, Crimson Thorn are set to unleash Unearthed once more, remixed and remastered by Charles Powell of Battlefrost Productions (Carnifex, Marble Tomb etc) with new artwork and band logo created by Zack Plunkett (Abated Mass Of Flesh, Flayed Alive etc) – introducing a new generation of fans to their crushing brutality and masterful songcraft.

Over the last decade, with Crimson Thorn in restless slumber, bassist/vocalist Luke Renno, guitarist Miles Sunde and drummer Steve Reishus have been plying their trade with the devastating Taking The Head Of Goliath, but the clamour for the return of Crimson Thorn has never faded. Now, with Taking The Head Of Goliath reaching the end of their story, the stars have aligned for the rebirth of Crimson Thorn. On October 25th Rottweiler Records will herald this new age of death metal destruction with not only the release of the reanimated Unearthed, but also the very first digital releases of 1997s Dissection and 2002s Purification albums! All the albums will be available through the Rottweiler Records Bandcamp page.

As a first taste of the onslaught to come, Rottweiler have unveiled the title track of Unearthed in all its remixed and remastered glory – a rotten feast of inhuman vocals, surging riffs and bludgeoning drum battery…back from the grave. Listen to ‘Unearthed’ below and prepare for the return of pure death metal mastery – Crimson Thorn are back!
