Today marks the release of “Standing United with Tina”, a two volume music compilation to raise funds to help pay medical expenses of Tina Chaves, publisher of the Punk N Praise webzine. Tina has been a long-standing supporter of the punk and hardcore community, publishing a quarterly webzine containing band interviews, album reviews, poetry, artwork, coffee commentary, and the latest scene news, with many of the bands covered sharing her Christian faith. Tina has been diagnosed with cancer, a disease that has already impacted her family, and will be starting chemotherapy treatments soon. 34 bands have lovingly contributed songs to help support Tina through music, and hopefully raise some funds for our dear friend’s treatment. Both volumes are free or “pay what you want” with all funds going to Tina’s medical expenses.
