Deny the Fallen is a modern metal band featuring two classic Christian metal artist’s (Rey Parra and Jonathan Johnson) from the band Sacred Warrior. Reuniting for the first time since writing and recording Sacred Warrior‘s popular “Obsessions” album, the two have tapped into something brand new. With a desire to incorporate and pay homage to all styles and eras of heavy metal within a completely modern style and production sound. They began writing in 2014. While Rey and Jon are also members of the bands Worldview (Rey) and Zeal (Jon), Deny the Fallen has been a labor of love and a long time dream come true. Rounding out the lineup is long time Zeal bassist Erik Kyr and Jon‘s highly skilled son Josh Johnson on drums. Deny the Fallen is substantially heavier than any of the other bands represented in the member’s resumes. With a powerful, tight, rhythmic sound and tremendous, intense melodies , Deny the Fallen is poised to make a lot of heavy music fans really happy!
