‘Slechtvalk’ Reaches Crowdfunding Goal, New Demo Song Available for Streaming

slechtvalk_logoWith only 4 days to go before the end of the crowdfundings campaign. Slechtvalk has managed to surpass their € 6000 goal (they’ve raised € 6301 as of this posting). Earlier tonight they reported the following:

‘You’ve done it! You helped us reach 100%! So here is a new demo song for you, to be rerecorded for the next album: Continue to spread the word, only 4 days left for you and your friends to help us shatter some records. Additional funding will help us getting some awesome artwork done (and take out less loans, hehe). It’s possible to make contributions until coming Friday at 11:59PM Pacific Time!’

‘T-shirt still needs to be designed, but the front will be based upon the album artwork (which still needs to be designed but chances are 75% we’ll hire Raymond Swanland again) and the back will have something unique in reference of the wearer’s support, We still need to think of something witty’

‘Several items from the goodiebag are already available individually and some will remain exclusive to the goodiebag (like the demo cd and the bag itself) and some might be available at a later point (like the patch) or at gigs (like the poster). We could have put everything seperately, but then we would have to overprice (especially considering postage costs) those individual items to keep the ‘all in goodiebag’ interesting in itself.’

‘Soon we’ll be able to offer legal downloads of “The War that Plagues the Lands”, ‘at the “Dawn of War” and “Falconry” through several recognised digital music vendor sites. Physical reprints require investments that we don’t expect to break even before we need those funds for the new album, so this is something we’ll have to see if it’s possible after all is done and paid for.’

The upcoming yet untitled  album will be recorded, mixed & mastered with Lasse Lammert of LSD-Studio in Lübeck (Germany) during March – July 2015, with an expected release date of October/November 2015.

Slechtvalk latest album “A Forlorn Throne” album was released in the summer of 2010 through the German record label Whirlwind Records, and once and for all proved Slechtvalk’s dominance as one of the best Dutch Blackmetalacts, receiving excellent reviews throughout Europe.
