Early Tik Tok promotion for the track has even caught the attention of Metal Blade Records (Cannibal Corpse, Cattle Decapitation, Slayer etc.) and their social media management team, where they’ve given the song their nod of approval.
Rotten Disposition was written to express the dark inner thoughts that come through the act of “Hatred”. Proverbs 24-26: A man with hate in his heart may sound pleasant enough, but don’t believe him; for he is cursing you in his heart. Though he pretends to be so kind, his hatred will finally come to light for all to see. Matthew 5:21-22 21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that whoever is angry (holds hatred) with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.
The lyrics to Rotten Disposition should take listeners on a dark journey through the mind of someone who is locked in hatred and anger. The final lyrics “exposing (my) flesh for what it’s made of” (IE. Exposing my own spiritual flesh) “Sin and death bleeds from my pride” (IE. My flesh leads to sin and death and It’s root cause is my own pride)
