The US power metal band Millennial Reign checked in with the following:
Today we announce the departure of our good friend and long time drummer, Steve Nichols. After years of service, both in country and out, Steve has decided to retire from the band life and focus on other things. He will be missed and we wish him well with everything that comes his way.
That being said, we ask everyone to welcome our new drummer, Pedro Cortes. Pedro has actually been working with us behind the scenes since May of 2023. After filling in as we opened for Petra in August, we knew he was a good permanent fit for the band, both personally and professionally. Fans will see this for themselves when the new album releases in early 2024, which is finished and turned over to our record label.
Onward and upward… a new chapter begins!
