‘ForChristSake’ Returns to Holland Next Month

FCS-2016_578Northern Ireland Extreme / Melodic Death Metal band ForChristSake recently reported the following

“For the last couple of weeks we have been rehearsing with our new drummer who will be accompanying us in The Netherlands next month, we had a great time there in September at Rock Alive and look forward to playing at Metal Yard festival (Enschede) and Easter Rock festival (Eygelshoven). Shortly after we get back we’ll be hitting the studio again. Other things lie in the pipeline, all will be revealed soon… \m/”

Earlier this month the band parted way with their long term drummer Ignatios.

ForChristSake formed in 2001. The band has been featured in Terrorizer Magazine and is signed to Roxx Records. The band’s current line-up includes vocalist Alan Duddy, lead guitarist Simon Cochrane, rhythm guitarist Logan McKee, drummer Ignatios, and bassist Mark Payne. They released an EP “Death is But a Breath Away” in 2010 and have released their debut full-lenght album “Apocalyptic Visions of Divine Terror”!  on Januari 21th. 2014 via American label Roxx Productions.

Originally founded in 2001, ForChristSake’s songs deal with topics such as Oppression, Political Corruption and Genocide. They have toured extensively in Europe; appearing in Switzerland in 2013 and the Netherlands last september (Rock Alive); with rumoured tour dates in the Czech Republic in 2016. Their EP “Death is But a Breath Away” and Full-Length “Apocalyptic Visions of Divine Terror” both received generally positive reviews and they are confirmed to be working on a new album. The band has been subject to a number of line-up changes since it’s foundation and has recently become a five-piece again for the first time since 2010 with the addition of guitarist Logan McKee; not long after Alan Duddy became the band’s new vocalist.

ForChristSake returns for the 2nd time to the Netherlands. They will play at the new festival Metalyard to be held 26 March 2016 in Atak, Enschede (NL).

This new festival is organized by foundation Bonavox, together with club Atak. For an amount of only € 15, – in advance (excluding service charges), the public can enjoy a variety of national and international acts of stature.

Other performing bands will be: Sear Bliss (Symphonic black metal from Hungary), Slechtvalk (Blackened Death Metal from The Netherlands), 7th Symphony (Symphonic Progressive Metal from Brasil). Nachtschatten (Melodic Death Metal from Germany), Disquiet (Thrash Metal from The Netherlands), Abrupt Demise (Death Metal from The Netherlands), Endymæria (Doom Metal from The Netherlands).
