All For The King is a new Swedish band consisting of Erik Tilling – guitars, Ricard Hulteke (Empire 21) – vocals, Johan Tjernström (Ole Børud) – Bass guitar and Olof Gardestrand (I’m from Barcelona) – Drums. In a message last week Tilling said: “Now it’s official. I’m happy to announce that I together with some good friends and skilled musicians has formed the band “All For The King”. I grew up with heavy music. I also grew up in church. The latter I have kept me all these years and wrote hymns. I love thoose modern hymns talking about Gods faithful love through everything and I will always do! I also always liked heavy guitar riffs. When I released my first soloalbum back in 2001 it was with a mixture of joy and anxiety. Looking back it went well. And now – 2016 – it’s time to be brave again and release some heavier tunes. We do this because it’s fun and we love it! And at a time in history when the Christian faith is counted as madness we want to show the contrary, and stand up for what we think is right. The energy and the heavieness of the music is well suited as carriers of what we want to say.”
