There will be no major events and festivals this summer.
Due to the corona virus, the ban on events has been extended to September 1st, Prime Minister Mark Rutte said during the press conference on Tuesday evening (April 21). “No events are taking place because we cannot handle the risks of this in the coming months,” said Rutte. “We also want to do justice to the need for clarity in organizations. So no Pinkpop no [International] Four Day Marches” and no “Zwarte Cross Festival“.
Whether it also has consequences for all planned concerts and festivals this autumn/winter, we will see. Let’s hope and pray that this is not the case.
