A Sickness Unto Death – ‘Red Water’ (Type O Negative Cover) Posted online, Mini Tour with My Silent Wake Kicks off Jan. 13th.


ASUD_logo_d65German doom metal band A Sickness Unto Death just posted ‘Red Water’, which is originally recorded by Type O Negative (from the ’96 album “October Rust”). Listen to the version of ASUD in the video below.

A Sickness Unto Death will be doing a mini-tour next month together with British Death/Doom Metal Band My Silent Wake. The tour will go through Germany and The Netherlands, dates and locations are listed below.

A Sickness Unto Death’s sophomore album “The Great Escape” has been released on November 21th. 2015 through Source Of Deluge.

A Sickness Unto Death formed in the beginning of 2012 as a collaboration between Michael Maas and Tim Ziegeler. Michael runs the small project studio “Refuge Studio” close to Bremen, Germany. Tim also hails from the German north and has been involved in several musical projects such as the doomy Visions of Moribund and the brutal Hasszorn.

Tim immediately connected to Michael‘s material and began contributing his signature vocal lines and lyrics. Since then, the duo has continued writing songs which culminated in the release of the album “Despair”. The album was released through TWS May 3rd 2013. Meanwhile, the project has grown into a full band. With Giordano Bruni (Ex- The Archtype, Guitar), Marius Paschen (Ex- Collapsing Sun, Drums) and Michael Nowak (Bass).
