‘Slechtvalk’ says “We Have to Test Your Patience Once More” (New Album Out Early 2016)

slechtvalk_logoThe Dutch extreme metal band Slechtvalk finished recording their new album In April. The upcoming yet untitled album is recorded, mixed & mastered with Lasse Lammert at the LSD-Studio in Lübeck (Germany). As previously reported, the release date for the new album has been pushed back to Jan. 2016.

A new update is following below:

“Unfortunately we were still not completely satisfied with the final mix we received a month ago and had to wait for Lasse to find the time in his busy schedule to adjust it, but he is finishing up now! He has done a great job so far, but we can be a bit picky ;)”

“A month ago we received a set of rough sketches from Raymond Swanland, which were very promising and it was hard to make a choice for him to continue with, so we asked him to combine some elements of different sketches and he set to work on it and thought he would have a finished product within a couple of weeks. “It has been several weeks since, so hopefully we’ll receive word from him any day now, but we’ll keep reminding him ;)”

“And once the cover-artwork is finished, our other contact can start working on the interior/packaging artwork based on Raymond‘s work. And we’ll need it for our T-shirt/poster designs etc. So we have to test your patience once more…”

“Our ‘Come to a rehearsal!’-perk gave one person the privilege to visit us during one of our rehearsals and bring a friend.”
