Tuscaloosa, Alabama’s Gideon are a no holds barred, in-your-face hardcore band with an already impressive repertoire. Well-placed gang vocals and a powerful front man set Gideon apart from many of their peers, while the band as a whole, whose members have been playing together only since 2008, come off sounding like seasoned pros.
Gideon released their debut album “Costs” in the spring of 2011 and quickly took the hardcore scene by storm while touring non-stop alongside such bands as Sleeping Giant, First Blood, and Betrayal; and playing festivals like the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, Facedown Fest, Cornerstone Festival and Sonshine Festival.
Their latest album “Milestone” was released in July 2012, the album has grown into one of Facedown’s most anticipated releases of 2012. Returning to the studio with Brian Hood at 456 Recordings, “Milestone”s 11-tracks find the band maturing as both songwriters and performers.
