Blood & Ink Records’ Venia are proud to exclusively premiere their first official music video via Metalsucks.net. The video, for their hit Crux from the I’ve Lost All Faith In Myself EP, was shot live in Greenville, SC and Tampa, FL with additional 8mm footage compiled from their adventures on the road. The band was fortunate to have Michael Dalton behind the camera as director, as this video follows a string of productions by Dalton for bands such as A Day To Remember, Living Sacrifice, For Today, The Famine, Veara, Gideon, and more.
The Minneapolis metallic “Spirit-filled” hardcore act crammed some tough-as-nails tunes onto that little black circle, and it pleases me to be able to present this music video for opening cut Crux (one of that release’s most moshable tracks) exclusively via MetalSucks.
The clip shows the band members at work and at play, from an intimate performance to a micro-pit in their van. There’s even a cameo from Chipotle, the fast food venue of choice by 9-out-of-10 hardcore acts! The director’s no slouch either Michael Dalton, having worked on videos for acts including Living Sacrifice, The Showdown and Onward To Olympas. Venia will be embarking on two tour runs this Fall, including an East Coast/Midwest stint to join Advent for their two last shows and a string of dates in Canada alongside No Bragging Rights and The Greenery.
