Ukrainian female fronted screamo/hardcore band To Leave A Trace performed at this years Escape The Rat Cage Festival (August 19th – 21th. Krögis, Germany) together with No Longer Music, Descend To Rise, Aim, My Brightest Diomond, Arci, The Car Is On Fire and other bands. Watch below a live video for Against The Flow.

To Leave A Trace was formed in the end of 2007 and almost immediatly recorded their debut album called Fight Your Evil Side, which was recorded on 2009 in the Ukraine, mixed and mastered on the same studio. The band commented:
We were proud of this album as it is our debut album that we’ve made after a year of playing together. We produced it on Rostock Records and presented it on such festivals in Europe as Slot Art festival/PL, Freakstock/DE, Frizon/SE, Freakfest/CZ and in may clubs during tours in Poland. We told in this album about many struggles that we often face inside and the power that helps us to survive in this world. It’s like to be or not to be – to fight your evil side or leave it be? Decision belongs to us and those who long to find truth will do it and will find God
Their latest album Boatman Is The Hero was released earlier this year on march 20, 2011. The band commented:
It was recorded in Poland at Aurora Studio. Mixing and mastering was done at Pink Noise Studios (Riverside California) by Kelly Cairns. We are proud of this work, it is really awesome! It was cool to cooperate with American sound producer who has big experience in this area, he was also cooperating with As I Lay Dying in their studio. We are very satisfied with the sounding of this album. The last song on it is from previous album, it is remixed and re-mastered here. We already released our official video clip for this song, it’s The Endless Song Of One Day and this video is dedicated to all victims of the disaster that happened lately on March in Japan (watch it below). We plan to give many concerts and make another video in the future.
