Risen (Symphony of Heaven, ex-A World Apart) Adds Vocalist Travis Fields

Risen, a new up and coming hard rock and metalcore outfit centralized out of Indianapolis, Indiana, has added on a new vocalist. The band’s new vocalist, Travis “Ducky” Fields, serves as the band’s second and unclean vocalist. Fields had previously been a part of A World Apart, a metalcore band that originated out of Martinsville, Indiana in 2012.

Risen began in early 2020, starting with Guitarist Jammin Shue, also formerly of A World Apart, Vocalist Chandler Ballinger, and Drummer Mason Beard (Symphony of Heaven, Mystic Winter, ex-The Abrasive Realization). The three would add on Bassist Heidi Dendler and Guitarist Hyperion Zhang and began to prepare for a concert-filled year.

The band, now consisting of Fields, Shue, Ballinger, Beard, Dendler, and Zhang, are currently writing for their debut release as a band under Apollyon Productions.
