Not to be confused with the sludge metal band of the same name, “Maranatha” is a brand new non metal black/death/ambient, dungeon synth, and dark orchestral project of mine (Nocturnal Servant) with a musical focus aimed to be dark, haunting, and beautiful all at the same time.
Lyrics and themes consist of mystical and meditative worship of the Holy Trinity, through meditative prayer and supplication with mystical elements and themes.
The meaning of the artist name “Maranatha” means “Come, Lord”, “Come soon, Lord Jesus”, or “Yahweh, come soon” in Hebrew.
This song in particular is the debut from Maranatha, and will serve as a central starting point and foundation for further Maranatha releases, both musically and lyrically.
