The first single ‘Godmode’ was released on Sept. 27th. (Lyric video below). Vocalist Sam John spoke with HM Magazine about what the single means to the band: ‘God Mode’ is for the ones who’re tired of fighting life’s battles on their own. Whom shall you fear? God is by your side! Whitenoiz is very excited to bring you this song off the album as a single.’

Christian Metal pioneers in India, Whitenoiz is worship on steroids.

A couple of friends started jamming together on the summer of 2004 and found that their love for metal was absolute. Begging for equipment, saving up from pocket money, sweaty jam rooms, mosquitoes that made the drummer just play faster, made Whitenoiz play rock festivals and competitions in the local Bangalore scene and soon become stars at various gigs throughout India. Whitenoiz also catapulted the entire Christian metal scene in India with many bands to their following.

The original line-up changed within a period of two years (2010-2012), when the guitarist (Moncy Abraham), drummer (Sujith Abraham), and keyboardist (Ranjith Abraham) had to part ways with the band due to their re-locations to other countries. Founding members Sam John (Vocalist) and Godson Gigin (Bassist) soon took the step to keep Whitenoiz alive and recruited local shredder, David Crimson, as the guitarist, much revered drum machine, Joe Jacob, as the new drummer, and acclaimed keyboardist and producer, Taz James, as the keyboardist. This unison led Whitenoiz to enter the studio to record their first ever album, “Sovereign Name”.
