‘P.O.D’ To Perform At This Weekend’s ‘NFC Championship Game’

pod2011P.O.D [Payable On Death] will perform during the halftime show at this weekend’s Falcons vs. 49ers NFC Championship Game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. Catch P.O.D performing their hit song Higher this Sunday, January 20 on FOX [game start time: 3 p.m. ET/PT].

P.O.D is continuing to tour in support of its 2012 album, Murdered Love, which sold more than 16,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 17 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band will join Three Days Grace and Shinedown on a U.S. tour kicking off February 1 in Moline, Illinois. Dates & locations are listed below.

Murdered Love is P.O.D‘s long-awaited follow-up to When Angels & Serpents DanceMurdered Love sees the band reunited with long-time producer Howard Benson who also produced the band’s massive Satellite album alongside hit albums for Kelly Clarkson, Theory Of A Deadman, Daughtry, and My Chemical Romance.
