The Ongoing Concept will headline a run of shows with Bloodlines and Lightworker this summer. The Ongoing Concept themselves will be out promoting their comeback album, “Again“, which finds them returning with their original lineup. Solid State Records have a March 31st release date slated for that.

The Ongoing Concept have announced a trio of album release shows around the March 31st arrival of their first new album since 2017. That record is titled “Again” and a first single from it premiered earlier this month. The release shows booked for it include:

04/07 Spokane, WA – The Big Dipper
04/08 Portland, OR – Mano Oculta
04/09 Boise, ID – The Shredder

The brotherly outfit will also be back out on the road this fall, having been confirmed for the following run of shows with Fallstar, The Undertaking! and Meadows:

The Ongoing Concept‘s first album since 2017 will emerge on March 31st. That record has been titled “Again“, and finds the group’s original lineup (vocalist/guitarist Dawson Scholz, vocals/keys/percussionist Kyle Scholz, drummer Parker Scholz, bassist TJ Nichols & vocalist/guitarist Andy Crateau) returning.

‘Prisoner Again’ has newly been released as a single ahead of that record, with the band stating:

“‘Prisoner Again‘ was one of the first songs we started writing, almost got scrapped multiple times, and then ended up becoming one of our favorites in the en. We wanted to bring a classic The Ongoing Concept sound but were struggling in finding a way to showcase a new era of the band. The missing piece of the puzzle was adding TJ and Andy’s vocals to the mix. Along with Kyle and my vocals, you get a taste of the range this album will have. Also, Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, King 810) absolutely crushed it with the mix!”

The Ongoing Concept recently announced an October 06th release date for their new album, “Places“, via Solid State Records. Pre-orders for the effort are available now at this location. Those who do pre-order will get the band’s new track ‘The Print’. Their newest single ‘The Print’ is now available everywhere.

The Ongoing Concept is an American pop rock band from Spokane, WA. Breaking the barriers of genre thumping critics, these guys mesh heavy rock, pop hooks, and extreme riffing that creates a blue-collar like sound that matches no other.
