The newest single from Decaying Martyr is here and it does not disappoint! Early Tik Tok promotion for the track has even caught the attention of Metal Blade Records (Cannibal Corpse, Cattle Decapitation, Slayer etc.) and their social media management team, where they’ve given the song their nod of approval.

Rotten Disposition was written to express the dark inner thoughts that come through the act of “Hatred”. Proverbs 24-26: A man with hate in his heart may sound pleasant enough, but don’t believe him; for he is cursing you in his heart. Though he pretends to be so kind, his hatred will finally come to light for all to see. Matthew 5:21-22 21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that whoever is angry (holds hatred) with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.

Decaying Martyr is the new Death Metal side project from Thomas Mong, otherwise known as Thomas Dispraised of the Rottweiler Records punk rock band Dispraised. The project is pieced together by many members of the Christian death metal and punk scenes

We consider ourselves to be a Death Metal, Thrash and Grind band that’s focus is centered on that old school metal feel that made your mother scared when she caught you listening to Deicide, Obituary or even Slayer and Anthrax. Decaying Martyr takes extreme metal back to a feel good time when bands were less interested in their social media numbers and more interested in how to create the fastest, meanest and scariest sounding metal that they could create.

With no label support and no promotion we have decided to release the first single on a whim via Bandcamp, as independent Artists. This debut single of ours ‘Unholy Cremation’ is a very heavy old school death metal track that’s received high praises from members of other respected Death Metal and Black Metal acts such as Broken Flesh, Frost Like Ashes and Consuming Fire who has all said that they love the track and are looking forward to more….
