In April 2023 Swedish Metalcore band Safemode’s song ‘This is not the end’ reached 1,000,000 streams on Spotify and shows no signs of slowing down.

‘This Is Not The End’ was first released in 2016 featured as the closing track on Safemode’s second full length album “Colorblind.” The song was written in loving memory of Tjet’s grandmother and deals with difficult subjects such as loss and the fear of being left behind.

The band decided they wanted to celebrate this success together with their wonderful listeners. In an attempt to give something back – as a token of appreciation for all the love shown – the band dusted off the cajón and the acoustic guitars and recorded a reimagined, rearranged and stripped down version of the song. The song will be released on Spotify as well as on YouTube accompanied by a spanking new music video.

Swedish metalcore band Safemode satisfies the fans’ longing for the new album “A Golden Horizon” by releasing two singles from previous repertoire. The favorite songs ‘Guide Me Right’ and ‘Another Day Will Haunt You’ will both be released by JONO Music and Sound Pollution along with music videos in October and November.

ColorblindAlmost after a decade of existence, the Swedish Melodic Metalcore majors, Safemode, are out with their much awaited and anticipated sophomore album, Colorblind. The album was crowdfunded and released worldwide in May 2016, under the label of Safemode and JONO, with the sole distribution rights with JONO. Safemode offered somewhat unique differentiation to its supporters, by writing a personal song for them (based on their life) for a small price and put the supporters name in the credits!! Isn’t that a wonderful way to connect with their fan base.?

The band made headway in the past with their numerous accolades, be it winning a major Swedish band contest, playing it for Sweden Rock or on being one of the few Swedish bands to make an impact on the America radio, being listed as the most wanted band. The band lists Underoath, Blindside, and The Devil Wears Prada as some of its influences. With 12 songs in their arsenal and 47 minutes of runtime, I got straight listening to the album.
