Theocracy performed at ProgPower USA XX. During their set, the band covered Angra‘s ‘Time’ in honour of vocalist André Matos, who passed away on June 8th after suffereing a heart attack at the age of 47. Fan-filmed video of the band’s entire set is available below.

Theocracy‘s highly anticipated new album “Ghost Ship” has been released on October 28th 2016 in Europe and North America through Ulterium Records & in Japan on Nov. 9th. “Ghost Ship” debuted at #17 on the Billboard Hard Rock charts in the U.S. The album is available on CD, 2LP and digital. Check out video footage of Power Quest performing ‘Temple of Fire’ and ‘Power Quest (Part I)’ at ProgPower USA last week, together with guest vocalists Alessio Garavello (A New Tomorrow) and Matt Smith (Theocracy).

Former Power Quest vocalist Garavello said: “Loved it!! What an experience being here in the US and having the chance to share the stage once more with my brothers. Thanks everybody for this amazing moment… it meant a lot to this Italian guy!!”

Fan-filmed video footage of Orphaned Land‘s September 6 performance at the ProgPower USA XVIII festival in Atlanta, Georgia can be seen below.

The Israeli progressive folk metal masters will release a new studio album on January 26, 2018 via Century Media Records. Most parts of the disc, which will be titled “Unsung Prophets And Dead Messiahs”, have already been recorded and Jens Bogren will once again take over mixing and mastering duties of what is to be destined to become the band’s best and biggest production so far. “Unsung Prophets And Dead Messiahs” will feature a guest appearance of guitar virtuoso Steve Hackett and more specials will be announced soon. reinxeed_2012Due to personal private reasons Tommy ReinXeed and his band ReinXeed will not do any more live shows after the “Rock out Wild” festival [August 2nd] and for the rest of the year. Read the band’s statement below:

“We are very sorry to announce our cancellation of ProgPower USA and all other shows and festivals in 2013. Due to personal private reasons Tommy ReinXeed will not do any more live shows after the “Rock out Wild” festival and for the rest of the year. We are all very sorry about this but respect his decision and are looking forward to the upcoming release of the album “A New World” and new strenght and motivation to tour in the future.” Continue reading »

Power metallers Sinbreed have posted a live clip of their new Song Reborn of the forthcoming record coming fall 2013. The video was shot during their performance at ProgPower USA XIII, on Sept. 14th. the video can be seen below.

Sinbreed is the project around 28 year old Guitarist Flo Laurin who joined forces with dedicated artists of the European metal scene.
