Narnia Releases ‘Rebel’ – The First Single From The New Studio Album “Ghost Town”

The Swedish metal band Narnia has released the single ‘Rebel’, which is the opening track on the upcoming record “Ghost Town”, the band’s ninth studio album. ‘Rebel’ showcases a seasoned and still hungry five-some that musically gives a nod to the band’s earliest influences, which should appeal to longtime fans. Follow-up tour is planned, and Narnia is ready for huge steps into a new, exciting chapter.

While waiting for Swedish metal band Narnia’s ninth studio-album, “Ghost Town”, which will be released on March 17th, first single; ‘Rebel’, is released on all major digital platforms in cooperation with Sound Pollution Distribution. The song is the opening track on the upcoming album and is an uptempo track with a sound that has been associated with the band for their 27 years to date.

The founder and guitarist of the Swedish metal band Narnia – CJ Grimmark – to release a Christmas-album together with a band of renowned musicians.

CJ Grimmark returns with his second solo album, 15 years after his self-titled solo debut from 2007. Together with the renowned musicians Anders Johansson (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force, ex-Hammerfall, ex-Manowar, Tungsten, etc.), Anders Mossberg (Jerusalem), Andreas “Habo” Johansson (Narnia, Avatarium, Royal Hunt), and Anders Köllerfors (Anette Olzon, Allen/Olzon, Magnus Karlsson’s Free Fall, All For The King, etc.), Grimmark creates instrumental interpretations of carefully selected Christmas hymns.

Doing this is something I’ve had in mind for almost two decades, and it finally happened. explains Grimmark and continues: This is a very mellow album in general, and not a metal production with shredding guitars, but the rock elements are present too. Thanks to the artistic freedom we all allowed ourselves to express there’s a great deal of different musical territories explored throughout the record.

“Christmas + Instrumentals & Hymns” will be released on Jonatan Samuelsson‘s label JONO Music, with worldwide distribution via Sound Pollution Distribution November 4th.

Narnia is once again ready for another studio album! After 25 years we’re still on a mission to uplift our Creator and our savior Jesus Christ through our music! Help us to reach out to the World with Heavenly Music in this time!

We have written and selected new songs, and we are right now in the process of writing lyrics and melodies. Recordings are scheduled to start in February and keep going throughout the year. Distributors along with concert promotors have shown interest, so we hope to get back on the road with a new album in 2022!
