Brainstorm Festival: Three New Bands Added To The Line-up: Confessions Of A Traitor, Leonov and Angelic Forces Confirmed

The English melodic metalcore band Confessions Of A Traitor, the Norwegian post-rock/doom band Leonov and the Dutch 80’s metalband Angelic Forces are confirmed for the 16th edition of Brainstorm Festival. These three bands will all play on Saturday 4 November.

In just a few years time Confessions Of A Traitor built a strong reputation within the UK. Thanks to their success the band inked a deal with Facedown Records. COAT is currently the only European band on the roster of this highly acclaimed American recordlabel. And now for the very first time these fine English gentlemen will play in The Netherlands.

For sure Leonov is not visiting The Netherlands for the first time. In fact the band played twice at Brainstorm Festival already, but also played FemME once. This year Leonov will release a new record, which is more then enough reason to return the band to our theatre for a special atmospheric show of post-rock and doom-metal.

Progressive Metal Band ‘Pyramaze’ Confirmed to Play ‘Brainstorm Festival’ In November, Early Bird Tickets are Now Available

The progressive metalband Pyramaze (DK/USA) will come to the 11th edition of the Brainstorm Festival. Last year the band performed at ProgPower Europe, and that convincing show was reason enough to invite the gentlemen to the Brainstorm Festival this time.

Their highly anticipated album “Contingent” has been released on April 28th 2017 in Europe and North America through Inner Wound Recordings

Norwegian Post-Rock/Metal Band ‘Leonov’ Signs Bookings Deal with ‘Desert Rose Agency’

Norwegian post-rock/metal band Leonov just signed a bookings deal with Desert Rose Agency from the Netherlands. The bookings agency brings back the Norwegians to the Netherlands in September, where Leonov will be playing a show at the Metal Female Event femme in Eindhoven. (More shows tba.)

Last November Desert Rose Agency arranged a short tour for Leonov through the Netherlands and Belgium. At Brainstorm Festival in Apeldoorn, the band was one of the big surprises  – “A very pleasant discovery” says Metalfan.nl.

This cooperation tasted for more, and it is now sealed with a multi-year contract. Continue reading »
