Demon Hunter have carved off another advance track from their upcoming album, “Exile“. See below for a stream of the song ‘Heaven Don’t Cry’ from it. A September 09th release date stands for that aforementioned effort through the band’s own Weapons MFG label.  The band will be out touring on the back of that album, with the below run booked:

“Exile” is the first-ever concept album by the 20-year metal veterans. Set in the aftermath of civilized society’s collapse, the 12 songs examine modern life through the lens of a nonconformist, contemplating a life untethered.

Demon Hunter‘s are once again joined by a special guest on their latest single. Following last month’s debut of ‘Silence The World’ with Evergrey‘s Tom S. Englund is ‘Defense Mechanism’, Max Cavalera, vocalist/guitarist for groove metal outfit Soulfly and more, appears on this latest offering.

That song is the third to arrive ahead of Demon Hunter‘s twelfth studio album “Exile“, which will see a September 09th release via the band’s own Weapons MFG label. The band will be out touring on the back of that album, with the below run booked:

Demon Hunter have released ‘Silence The World’ as the second single from their twelfth studio album, “Exile“. Evergrey vocalist/guitarist Tom S. Englund lends his talents to this new track. He’s not the only guest tapped to appear on “Exile” however, as both Soulfly, etc. vocalist/guitarist Max Cavalera, Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner will also cameo on separate songs. “Exile” is slated to meet a September 09th release through the band’s own newly launched Weapons MFG label.

“Mental health is all anyone wants to talk about anymore, but we don’t often hear that our collective screen obsessions have anything to do with the issue,” Demon Hunter singer Ryan Clark says of ‘Silence The World‘s lyrical themes. “Even when it seems people have pinpointed things like social media as destructive, the concept of abstaining from it is quickly excused away. I often dream of a future of revolt. It may be naïve to think it could happen, but I believe a mass exodus from social media could change nearly everything for the better.”

When it came to guest features on “Exile”, Englund was at the top of the band’s list.

Demon Hunter have returned with a music video for their brand new single ‘Freedom Is Dead’. The song is the first single from the group’s forthcoming twelfth studio album “Exile“, due out September 09th through Weapons MFG. Pre-orders for that outing have been made available online in advance via demonhunter.net.
