Enigmatic electronic artist The Forgotten takes on Circle Of Dust‘s ‘Telltale Crime’ in this latest Electro Industrial remix.

Forging new life to the industrial metal track originally released in 1992, The Forgotten adds their blend of Electro and EDM. A gritty vocal performance, with defiant and provocative lyrics as relevant now as they were when the song first released, slides between heavy guitars and distorted synthesizers. The result is an fierce EDM remix that retains the challenging spirit of the original while morphing into something completely new.

Circle of Dust made its triumphant return in 2016 after Klayton regained control of the entire Circle of Dust catalog, re-releasing each album (Self-Titled,  Brainchild, Metamorphosis, Disengage, and beloved side-project Argyle Park) with remastered audio and completely re-imagined art. Later the same year, with the project fully resurrected, the new album Machines of Our Disgrace was released followed by a feature-length documentary, Full Circle: The Birth, Death & Rebirth of Circle of Dust, and full-length remix album alt_Machines in 2018.

In 2020, Circle of Dust began releasing a 25th Anniversary Edition of the 1995 self-titled debut album, featuring all-new mixes resurrected on original gear with separate audio tracks for the first time in over 20 years. Each release from the album has received new remixes from modern artists such as Fury Weekend, Soul Extract, Rabbit Junk, Cyanotic, and FreqGen. 2021 kicked off with an updated version of “Twisted Reality” along with a cinematic remix from Void Chapter. The complete Circle Of Dust 25th Anniversary Edition was released in late 2021 followed by the Circle Of Dust (Remixed) album in early 2022.

Activated in August of 2019, The Forgotten have dropped a plethora of well-received synthwave remixes, collaborations, and singles including a remix of Porter Robinson’s “Language,” a collaboration with F.O.O.L., “Dystopian 2077,” that garnered over 644K plays on Spotify alone, and an appearance on trap metal artist Becko’s INNER SELF album with a heavy synthwave dubstep remix of “Cyberfriend.”

‘Telltale Crime‘ (The Forgotten Remix) is out now from FiXT.

When the album “Machines of Our Disgrace” released in 2016, the first new album from Circle of Dust in nearly 20 years, many believed this to be a one-time return for Klayton to release under the moniker.

“Machines of Our Disgrace” marks the 5th full-length studio album for industrial music pioneer Circle of Dust, after a near 20 year hiatus. Created by artist/producer Klayton, best known for his multi-genre project Celldweller, Circle of Dust returns to Klayton’s industrial roots with metal riffs, pulsing electronics and catchy songwriting.
