Oriental metal band Myrath has been confirmed to play the annual Brainstorm Festival, this will be the 2nd time for them at the festival, the first time was in 2012. Brainstorm Festival will be held 11 and 12 November 2016, as usual in Gigant in Apeldoorn (The Netherlands).
Myrath‘s fourth full-length album “Legacy” is released on February 12th. via Nightmare / Sony/ RED. Earlier this year Myrath toured through Europe as a support of Symphony X “Underworld Europe Tour 2016”.
Other performing band’s will be: Theocracy (USA), Narnia (S), Mantric (N), Undawn (NL), Leonov (D), Within Silence (SK), Dalit (N). More bands will be announced soon.
Myrath is a Franco-Tunisian metal band, yet in just a few years they’ve become a very enjoyed and respected band by the international prog-power community. Their new album “Legacy” promises to rocket the band higher yet, with both European and North American tour plans and their most exciting album to date.

Brainstorm Festival was formed in the beginning of 2008 with a clear mission to enter a new era of music festivals as we know it. Brainstorm Festival is known as an independent cultural rock- and metalfestival, that provides a stage to both new talent as well as metal-dinosaurs. The festival combines hardrock with extreme metal. Besides concerts Brainstorm Festival offers a program in the theater of the club with acoustic performances, interviews, debate and competitions. Also there is an exposition taking place each year, plus a small metal-market.
