‘To Speak Of Wolves’ Video Blog #5 Posted

To Speak Of Wolves recorded their new album Find Your Worth, Come Home with Matt McClellan at Glow In The Dark Studios in Atlanta, GA. Their new album is available in stores and online May 22nd. In the fifth video blog from the studio, the band discusses the details of the album and what’s to come for them. The video can be seen below.

Find Your Worth, Come Home, the band’s first album with dynamic new frontman Gage Speas, Find Your Worth, Come Home sees the revitalized lineup reaching into darker, heavier and faster territory. It’s an album of rediscovery, and an album that freshly stamps what To Speak Of Wolves is about, from the title on down.

“The title is about we’ve been doing – finding ourselves as a band, proving what are and doing what we do best,” explains drummer and founding member Phil Chamberlain. “This record is something that we’re incredibly proud of. We’ve gotten a lot of compliments about how intense we are live and I don’t think that came across on the first album. This time around we went into the recording process wanting to make sure to capture that intensity, and I think we did that.”

“We couldn’t be more stoked and proud of what we’ve created with this album,” Chamberlain exclaims. “We are excited and can’t wait to share it with everyone!”

Find Your Worth, Come Home is the follow-up to To Speak Of Wolves heralded 2010 debut, Myself < Letting Go, which catapulted the band onto the national stage with its road-rash riffage and soaring, arena-worthy choruses. Relentless touring alongside likeminded bands such as Underoath, August Burns Red and Between The Buried And Me, underscored the fact that the Greensboro, NC quintet were a force to be reckoned with. The band quickly became a beacon within the hard rock and metalcore scene, despite – or perhaps because of – their unwillingness to become yet another facsimile spewing forth endless breakdowns and Auto-Tuned choruses. To Speak Of Wolves refused to do either, and fans loved them all the more for it.

Now, driven by the dominating vocal presence of Speas, To Speak Of Wolves are ready to blow the doors wide open. “We’re now completely on the same page as a band and couldn’t be happier,” Chamberlain assures. “We’ve never had more fun.”

On May 6th the band will be heading out on a U. S. tour with Harp & Lyre. Other bands playing on certain dates throughout the tour include Wolves At The Gates, Fallstar, Lions! Tigers! Bears! and Set The Sun. Click here to see a complete list of cities, tour dates and venues.
