‘The Devil Wears Prada’ & ‘Between The Buried And Me’ To Play ‘Graspop Metal Meeting’ 2013

Graspop Metal Meeting 2013 is already shaping up to be a vintage edition of Belgium’s premier metal festival. Following the confirmation of headliners Iron Maiden for Sunday 30 June, we are pleased to announce another 22 names for next year’s festival: In Flames, Stone Sour, Parkway Drive, Saxon, Coal Chamber, Epica, Kreator, Mayhem, The Devil Wears Prada, Dark Funeral, Absu, God Seed, Every Time I Die, Winterfylleth, Lock Up, Aura Noir, After The Burial, Dunderbeist, Between The Buried And Me, Bullet, Heaven’s Basement, Hacktivist.

The latest The Devil Wears Prada album, Dead Throne was released Sept. 2011. Dead Throne sold 32,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 10 on The Billboard 200 chart.

The Devil Wears Prada also released a live CD/DVD, Dead & Alive, on June 26 via Ferret Music, read our review here. Dead & Alive was filmed and recorded last year during The Devil Wears Prada‘s hugely successful “Dead Throne Tour: North America”tour. Last march TDWP has released Vengeance, the clip is taken from that DVD. The video can be seen below.

Between The Buried And Me‘s new album, The Parallax II: Future Sequence, sold 17,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 22 on The Billboard 200 chart.  The album was released last month on October 9 via Metal Blade Records.

Astral Body, the new video from Between The Buried And Me, can be seen below. The clip, which was directed by Wes Richardson, is filled with extraterrestrial imagery climaxing in the explosion of a glacier and land mass as the sole character flies through space.

Graspop Metal Meeting 2013 is taking place in festival park ‘Stenehei’ in Dessel over the weekend of Friday 28th to Sunday 30th June. With leading bands from just about every metal and rock subgenre and a lineup that spans several generations of heavy music, there’s loads of fun to be had for metalheads both young and not so young. Graspop Metal Meeting is synonymous for three days of music and fun, 75 bands, four stages and lots of fringe events to boot, including signing sessions, an outdoor festival fair, an indoor metal market, etc.
The GMM campsite is situated right next to the festival arena and is equipped with all modern amenities thanks to the Festival Express Shop and first-rate sanitary facilities. Metal Town is the place to be if you’re looking to spend the night in more comfortable circumstances. Metal Town is a veritable open air hotel with Festihuts and lots of room to accommodate your motorhomes and caravans.
