Safemode_2013Swedish metalcore band Safemode has just finished a crowd funding campaign for their upcoming album, which is going to be recorded in April. Once again the band collaborates with Dino Medanhodzic at Radionika Studios in Stockholm. 12 songs has been selected among both new and previously unreleased songs. written by both present and past band members.

As previously reported, Safemode will be one of the bands performing at this year’s Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg. The band hopes to expand their fan base among listeners to artists like  Jerusalem, All That Remains, Children of Bodom, Gloryhammer, Def Leppard, Eluveitie, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, Ace Frehley, Toto, Safemode, Backyard Babies, Mad Max, Slash, Hammerfall, Alestorm, Extreme, Delain, Hammerfall, Meshuggah and many more. Jerusalem logoSwedish rock band Jerusalem are confirmed for this year’s edition of Sweden Rock Festival. This year’s festival takes place June 3rd. to 6th. in Blekinge in southern Sweden

The purpose of the festival is to offer its audience the best possible mix of classic rock, hard rock, metal, blues and related genres. Some of the other participants are artists like All That Remains, Children of Bodom, Gloryhammer, Def Leppard, Eluveitie, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, Ace Frehley, Toto, Safemode, Backyard Babies, Mad Max, Slash, Hammerfall, Alestorm, Extreme, Delain, Hammerfall, Meshuggah and many more.

Safemode_2013Today Sweden Rock announced that Safemode will be one of the bands performing at this year’s festival in Sölvesborg. The band hopes to expand their fan base among listeners to artists like Def Leppard, Toto, and Mötley Crüe.

Earlier today, Sweden Rock announced that Swedish metalcore-band Safemode, will be one of this year’s bands participating at the Sweden Rock Festival in early June.

“We were in the middle of recording our new album with associated crowd funding campaign, when we got the request to perform at Sweden Rock.” says singer Tjet Gustafsson and continues: “These past years we have mostly toured abroad, which makes it even more fun to play at a major festival in our own country.” Continue reading »

Skillet will join Godsmack and Seether, along with Buckcherry, for the fifth Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival, which kicks off August 15.

Skillet‘s run with the Uproar Festival will follow their current tour in Europe, where the band was invited to play multiple festivals throughout the continent, performing for thousands of fans. The tour began May 30 in Jelling, Denmark and will end July 6 in Sofia, Bulgaria with stops in Italy, Germany, Russia, United Kingdom and more. On their second European tour in support of the “Rise” album, Skillet is making big waves across the continent. After completing a massive fall tour last year supporting Nickelback, with six back-to-back sold-out headline shows in Russia and encore-demanding crowds, the band is rapidly gaining a solid European following. CooperShock rock legend Alice Cooper is the latest act confirmed for the 2014 edition of the Sweden Rock Festival, taking place June 4th – 7th in Solvesborg, Sweden. It will be Cooper‘s only show in Sweden for the summer of 2014.

In the early 70s he, and at the time his namesake band, defined shock rock forever. This era has become a template for generations, including such names as Kiss and Marilyn Manson. Consider songtitles like “School’s out”, “Billion dollar babies”, “I’m eighteen” och “No more Mr Nice Guy”. In the late 80s, sensation struck again. The seasoned veteran became a star also on the melodic scene of the day – smash hits like “Poison” and “Hey stoopid” conquered another generation. And so on.
