Dallas, Texas metalcore band Memphis May Fire will release its new album, “Broken”, on November 16 via Rise Records. “Broken” is a follow-up to the band’s 2016 album “This Light I Hold.” The disc’s first single, ‘The Old Me’, can be streamed below.

‘The Old Me’ is about my struggle with anxiety and depression,” said singer Matty Mullins about the intensely personal song. “What feels like a war between good and evil, loathing the person I become mentally when it consumes me, and trying to remember what life was like before I lived with the symptoms. Ultimately hoping to one day become that person — ‘The Old Me’ — again.”

‘Dirty’, the brand new video from Sevendust, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band’s 12th studio album, “All I See Is War”, which will be released on May 11 via Rise Records. The follow-up to 2015’s “Kill The Flaw” was recorded at Studio Barbarosa in Gotha, Florida with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette, who has previously worked with Alter Bridge and SLASH, among others.

Sevendust‘s new disc will be the group’s first for Rise Records, the Oregon-based metal and hard rock label which was purchased by BMG in 2015. Continue reading »

Rise Records has announced the signing of Blessthefall. The band’s will new album, “Hard Feelings”, will be released on March 23. The disc was produced by Tyler Smyth, with additional production by Matt Good and Howard Benson.

Blessthefall has released the video for the new song ‘Melodramatic’. Check it out below.

The official lyric video for ‘Defy’, the title track of the upcoming album from Of Mice & Men, can be seen below. Due on January 19, 2018 via Rise Records, the disc will mark Of Mice & Men‘s first full-length release without vocalist Austin Carlile, who left the group due to his ongoing battle with Marfan syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that afflicts the connective tissue holding the body’s cells, organs and tissue together. Handling lead vocals in the band now is bassist Aaron Pauley.

Regarding the new track, Pauley said: “To defy means to challenge the power of; resist boldly or openly. Our song ‘Defy’ is all about digging your heels in, and being defiant towards feelings of hopelessness, and defining yourself in the process.” Continue reading »

Of Mice & Men will release is new album, “Defy”, on January 19, 2018 via Rise Records. The disc will mark Of Mice & Men‘s first full-length release without vocalist Austin Carlile, who left the group due to his ongoing battle with Marfan syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that afflicts the connective tissue holding the body’s cells, organs and tissue together. Handling lead vocals in the band now is bassist Aaron Pauley.

The official video for the disc’s new single, ‘Warzone’, can be seen below. The clip lives up to the song’s explosive combination of metallic insurgency and irresistible hooks.
