lacey_sturm_2016_898In a brand new interview with RockRevolt Magazine, ex-Flyleaf frontwoman Lacey Sturm was asked if there is chance that she could reunite with her former bandmates now that they have parted ways with their singer of the past four years, Kristen May. She responded (hear audio below): “Well, you know, I feel like I’m the kind of person that I think so much happened that I never in a million years thought would happen, so I’ve learned to quit saying ‘never.’ But at the same time, I’m a really present person.”

She continued: “I don’t have any plans for that, but then again, you never know. I don’t know… [Laughs] They haven’t called me. And I don’t have any plans [to go back].”

Two years ago, Sturm opened up about some of the reasons why she quit Flyleaf in the fall of 2012, shortly before the release of its third album, “New Horizons”. She said that several events, including getting married, having a baby and enduring the death of the band’s sound engineer Rich Caldwell changed her priorities. Continue reading »

lacey_sturm_2016_898Former Flyleaf Singer Lacey Sturm‘s music video ‘Rot’ was released on Aug. 25th. This is the first video from her debut solo album, “Life Screams”, which was released on February 12 via Followspot Records with The Fuel Music distribution. The video can be seen below.

Says Lacey: “‘Rot’ is one of my favorite songs from the ‘Life Screams’ album and we had an amazing time making the video. I hope it brings new freedom to the soul and new life to the hearts of all who watch it.”

lacey_sturm_2015_792Former Flyleaf vocalist Lacey Sturm has released a new video for her latest solo single, ‘Impossible’. The clip, which was filmed on February 4 at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California, is a mixture of commentary on “Impossible” and live performance.

‘Impossible’ is taken from Lacey‘s debut solo album, “Life Screams”, which was released on February 12 via Followspot Records with The Fuel Music distribution.
