Girder Music and Girder Records is very proud to announce this amazing CD by Bloodgood‘s Lead Singer, Les Carlsen. This amazing CD comes from a remastered cassette that Les recorded in 1971, while touring as the lead role “Claude”, with the Broadway musical Hair. Les put together material for an album with a group of musicians from Seattle, but it’s never been released until now. It was the first album ever recorded by Les, a lost treasure found on cassette and remastered by David Zaffiro.

Tourniquet (USA) has been confirmed as the headliner of the Brainstorm Festival 2018. The band returns to Europe for the first time since 2009 and presents their new album “Gazing At Medusa” at the Brainstorm Festival. As a special guest, singer Les Carlsen (Bloodgood, USA) will come along, who recorded an album with Tourniquet exactly 25 years ago.

Tourniquet will close the 11th edition of the Brainstorm Festival in Apeldoorn on Saturday 10 November with a long show. Expect a mix of new songs and hits from the 28-year successful career of the band around drummer Ted Kirkpatrick. Of course there will be a meet and greet with the band at the festival. Also the real fans can buy a VIP ticket. This entitles you to a backstage tour, a dinner with Tourniquet and a small photo shoot with the band. Interested? Mail directly at brainstormfestival@gmail.com.

With ‘Gazing At Medusa’, Tourniquet is back in action. On the new album, the band went all out with on microphone singer Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens (Judas Priest / Iced Earth) and a guest role for singer Deen Castronovo (Journey). For the guitar work, the band managed to attract Chris Poland (Megadeth). More than enough reason to see Tourniquet live at work at the Brainstorm Festival in Apeldoorn on November 10th.
