After being released as a video clip on Youtube, finally ‘The Legacy’, the new single from Brazilian groove/thrash metallers Legacy Of Kain are available now on streaming platforms.

The track was recorded, mixed and mastered at Silent Music Studio by Karim Serri between December and January and verses about the struggles that every band lives on the underground scene and the resilience to stand up an win this situations.

The other track that also was recently released on streaming services are the version of ‘Get Lucky’ (Daft Punk) made with the special guest of Fernanda Lira (Nervosa) doing an unusual clean vocal. Both songs can be checked below, as audio tracks or video clips.

2019 was a very productive year for Legacy Of Kain. 2 tours through South America and a new and highly praised album (“Paralelo XI”) was some of the fruits of this year for the Brazilian groove/thrash metallers.

But 2020 brings new challenges, more tours and a new single called ‘The Legacy’.

With images taken from an special event in Curitiba at Hangar Casa do Ócio, “The Legacy” verses about the struggles that every band lives on the underground scene and the resilience to stand up an win this situations.

The Brazilian Thrash/Groove metal band band Legacy Of Kain have released a new song ‘Split in Half’ feat. Fernanda Lira from the band Nervosa. The song appears on Legacy of Kain’s upcoming album“Paralelo XI” which will be released on May 16th. ‘Split in Half’ can be streamed below.

About the song, the band states:

“We fight for days when we never have to live this kind of atrocity again. Split In Half is a music based on real events that tells an episode of the story of the Cinta Larga tribe where a group of miners invaded one of their camps with the intention of killing them all and one of these assassins because there is no other name for it , in an episode of fury, captured an Indian and his small son, hung it upside down and split her in 2 parts with a machete. Unfortunately this is not fiction. ‘Get Lucky’ is a song from French house music duo Daft Punk, featuring vocals by Pharrell Williams and co-written by the duo, Williams, and Nile Rodgers. The single from Daft Punk‘s fourth studio album, “Random Access Memories.” (2013)

The Brazilian Thrash/Groove metal band band Legacy Of Kain is in the process of recording “Paralelo XI”, album that will succeed the praised debut “I.N.V.E.R.S.O.” (2017) and invited Fernanda Lira from the band Nervosa to make a guest vocal participation.

On February 25 Karim Serri, guitarist and the producer from Legacy Of Kain went to the city of São Paulo and accompanied Fernanda‘s recordings at Sputnik Home Studio with the assistance of Michel Oliveira. According to the musician “Fernanda is extremely talented. We needed a voice with presence and melodic dynamism for a cover song that we wanted to record and our press manager gave us the idea to call her.
