Matt Bishop conducted an interview with Megadeth guitarist Chris Broderick during the recently completed Gigantour. You can now watch the chat below.

Gigantour — the critically acclaimed package festival founded in 2005 by Megadeth — made its highly anticipated return for the first time since 2008. The multi-artist bill kicked off on January 26 in Camden, New Jersey and wrapped on March 3 in Austin.

As previously reported, Megadeth will perform its 1992 album,Countdown To Extinction, in its entirety on September 7 at Teatro Caupolican in Santiago, Chile.  Continue reading »

Megadeth is among the nominees for the 54th annual Grammy Awards, which will be held on Sunday, February 12 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Megadeth is excited to re-launch for the first time since 2008 its critically acclaimed package festival Gigantour. The multi-artist bill — with metal heavyweights Motorhead, Volbeat and Lacuna Coil all personally picked by Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine— will kick off in early 2012 with dates tentatively set for late January through early March.Conceived in 2005, Gigantour — proclaimed “the mother of all shred fests” by Revolvermagazine — resurrects metal’s focus on stellar musicianship.
