Symphonic power metal band Ravenworrd has signed a worldwide deal with Rockshots Records to release their one-time studio album, ‘Transcendence’, on January 31.

Inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe’s novel ‘The Raven‘, the Milan, Italy, based band was originally formed in 2007 by the mind of keyboardist and composer Davide Scuteri (Choirs Of Veritas). After several years of activity, which included a self-titled demo, the band went on a brief hiatus, re-grouping in 2016 when singer Chiara Tricarico (Sound Storm, Moonlight Haze), drummer Michele Olmi (Chronosfear, Skeleeton) and bass/guitar player Cesare Ferrari (Choirs Of Veritas) joined the band, in order to create a one-time studio album that embodies the whole history of the band.

Mehida is a Finnish progressive metal band formed by ex-Sonata Arctica keyboardist Mikko Härkin. The band also consists of three members of Wingdom as well as Jani Stefanovic (Essence of Sorrow, Divinefire, Miseration) and Thomas Vikström (Therion, Stormwind, ex-Candlemass).

The Italian band, founded by keyboard player and composer Davide Scuteri plays a symphonic metal with power influences and Christian lyrics.

Choirs of Veritas is a Christian Metal project from Milan, influenced by classical music, symphonic music and power metal. The name of the band literally means “Choirs Of Truth”, to symbolize the union between music and the spiritual truth attributable to Jesus Christ.

“I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life”[John 14.6].”

I Am The Way, The Truth, And Life” is Choirs of Veritas first full length album. A album that basically brings the love of music and God together, showing the love they have for the music and for God. The album does not splice words as to whether this is a Christian band or not.
