Azorrague – “Bringer of Terror”

Bringer_Of_Terror_6b3By now, metal from Brazil is not very surprising to many.  Azorrague, translating to whip/scourge/lash/punishment, is the latest Brazilian band to catch my attention and one of several from the city of Curitiba.  Bringing their own combination of death metal and thrash, Azorrague have unleashed their second full length album Bringer of Terror.

If you’re looking for metal in Brazil, Curitiba certainly seems to be a good place to start.  Bands like Efrata, Hawthorn, Maestah, and Doomsday Hymn all come to mind when that city is named and now add Azorrague to that list.  From information I could find, Azorrague started back in 2007, and has two previous releases, the ep Lies Empire in 2008 and the full length Die With Us in 2011.  For Bringer of Terror, the band recorded at Silent Music Studio and enlisted Karim Serri (Doomsday Hymn, Maestah and others) for production, mixing, and mastering. Brazilian Metal Band ‘Azorrague’ Debuts ‘Bringer Of Terror’ Music Video

azorrague_2016_cacThe Brazilian Death Thrash Metal band Azorrague has released its first video late last month (April 23), ‘Bringer Of Terror’ is the title track of the new album which has been released in November. The video can be watched below

The video was filmed in ‘Old Tatoo e Piercing’ and ‘Comunidade Gólgota’, film by Guilherme Ikeda and his script by the drummer Macarrão.

Drummer Macarrão says that “The idea (of ‘Bringer Of Terror) is to confront the alienation and the bizarre things people do without question, as well as blind obedience to a supposed priest. These among many other other things that trample on human dignity and to kill in the name of religion, whatever it may be. ‘

Azorrague_20153 years after their last release, the Brazilian Death/Thrash metal band Azorrague is back with a brand new album, which carries the title “Bringer of Terror”.

“BoT” was recorded at Silent Music Studio, produced, mixed and mastered by Karim Serri (Doomsday Hymn, Desertor, Stauros, Maestah and others) & released through the new Brazilian label Metal Survivor. The album contains 10 songs of furious Death-thrash, where the band shows a considerable evolution if compared to the previous album, “Die with Us” (2012).

Brazilian Metal band ‘Azorrague’ Release Lyric Video for ‘Bloody Hands’, New Album “Bringer of Terror” Coming Out Next Month

Azorrague_2015Brazilian Death/Thrash metal band Azorrague posted on September 29th a new song on you tube as a video lyrics for the song ‘Bloody Hands’. It´s the opening song of “Bringer of Terror” album, the trio´s newest album will be released this November through the new Brazilian label Metal Survivor.
