Tirzah is the city where King David lived and she is also the daughter of the priest Zadok. Tirzah means wonder of God. The band consists of Alanna Santos – vocals and guitar, Tiago Siqueira - drums and vocals, Hugo Batista – bass.
So if you are in the market for some good solid grindcore / death metal mixed with a bit of thrash then do yourself a favor and go have a listen to the latest release from the Brazilian band, ANTIDEMON. Formed in 1994 out of the city of São Paulo, this death metal band is one of the best in their specific genre. Their 2012 release that I am reviewing is entitled, ‘Apocalypse Now’ and straight off the bat it hits hard and fast in its skull crushing assault. Listening to this loud, which I advice being the only way to listen to this album, it has the ability to pulverize you with its relentless energy. Now I am not a big death metal fan, but this is well done. If I have to take one word in the dictionary to describe the overall package of this album, then the word BRUTAL, would be a sure winner.
After been smacked over my head with the first listen, and after regaining my senses from the pulverizing guitar and drum onslaught, I manage to carry my limped smacked body to push repeat on the player and get down to reviewing the album with caution.
Crossrock are influenced by bands like Guardian, Whitecross, Stryper, Idle Cure, Petra, Shout, Ken Tamplin, Bloodgood, Winger, Holy Soldier, Fire House, Mr. Big, T.N.T, Angelica, Danger Danger, White Lion, Whitesnake, Cinderella, The QuireBoys and other great bands.
The name Allos means Other and revers to The Holy Spirit. That’s a nice name to have as a band. But also a promising. Let’s check it out.
The albums contains 10 songs with a total playing time of 42 minutes, not bad for a debut album.
The kickoff of the album is “Unknown world” and is an instrumental into and flows very nice over into “Mirror of the Deep waters”, which gives us the full range of power metal at their disposal. This sounds good. Vocals are good, very good actually. Also guitars, bass, drums and keys are very well performed.

Everyone knows very well the ongoings that took place earlier 2012, where people in their very malicious gossip and slander and liars tried to separate the pair and consequently block one of the most promising works of the National Modern Metal … Unfortunately their EP is not out yet as we hoped, but its final mix will roll in 2013 for sure!
But this video marks the return of Lean Van Ranna [picture] and Michel Marcos singing together again, in a KILLER cover of Divinefire, which was already recorded about 1 month ago, but we expected this suggestive date, one day before the “imminent end”, haha ! (laughter) You guys have just over 1 hour to check out this cover song, haha, because there is still Time of Salvation! (now that’s serious!). The video can be seen below.
Unfortunately, the band Skin Culture ceased their activities. It became one of the biggest Brazilian names of this new generation of metal/rock, and achieved great tours along with Sepultura, Soulfly, P.O.D., Korn and other great bands. They also worked along with great names such as Danny Couto and Ahrue Luster [Ill Nino, ex Machine Head] and Heros Trench [Korzus]. They recorded three albums and 1 DVD [documentary] explaining how Skin Culture became respected musicians in the music industry.
The vocalist of the band Shucky Miranda, posted the following announcement on the band’s facebook profile:
