UK Christian Thrash band Back Pocket Prophet (BPP) have just released their first ever music video, called ‘Renewed Heart’. It’s the lead single from the upcoming second album “…To Overcome”. When the album will be released is yet unknown, but we will keep you posted. The video can be watched below.

Back Pocket Prophet is a Thrash/Heavy Metal band from Oxford in the United Kingdom. Formed in 2007, BPP have played extensively in the UK and Europe from pubs to festivals with no gig too small or big. Despite several line up changes over the years BPP has constantly delivered in every venue they play and 2011 saw the release of their debut album “1:4”. BPP _ Live at Freakstock 2012UK Christian Thrash band Back Pocket Prophet is preparing to perform their first ever acoustic set on May 18th at this years Meltdown Retreat. After being a regular staple for Meltdown over the last few years it was suggested that they do something a little different; so the amps are being turned down [slightly], the band will all be sat down [probably] and the singing will be in tune [hopefully].

Says singer Dan Random: “We’re having to re-learn songs that we’ve been playing for years in order to capture the new dynamics. It’s been a surprising couple of months for us.” Continue reading »

Back Pocket Prophet are a thrash metal band based near Oxford, UK. The band made a storming debut appearance at the 2007 Greenbelt Meltdown stage. 2008 saw BPP release their second E.P and play gigs all across the UK and Europe. 2009 was the year of change with original member Adam leaving the band and 2 new members joining. 2010 saw BPP play major shows at Elements of Rock and Hard Rock Halleluja whilst playing their regular commitment of shows and also enter the studio to record their debut full-length album.
