Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper guitarist) has announced the release of his new solo album “Imagine Your Reality” on May 25th, 2018 via Cargo Records UK. Vocalist/guitarist & songwriter, Ryan Roxie, is best known as Alice Cooper’s long-time lead guitarist and collaborator. He has also worked with Slash & Gilby Clarke and been a member of Classic Rock Award nominated band, Casablanca. Roxie has had an impressive ride so far!

His forthcoming album, “Imagine Your Reality” is his first official ‘solo’ release and sees him joined by other noteworthy musicians, including a collaboration with Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander on the track ‘California Man.’

Says Roxie, “Cheap Trick were a major influence in my musical upbringing. Both Robin Zander and Rick Nielsen have joined us onstage at Alice Cooper shows in the past and have always been the most quintessential rock stars. In my opinion Robin Zander’s voice IS the definition of Rock ‘n’ Roll, so having him guest vocal on ‘California Man’ definitely ticks a box off my ‘greatest moments in rock ‘n roll’ list.” Continue reading »

Alice Cooper, the grand-daddy of Shock Rock is out with his 27th studio album “Paranormal”, released on July 28, 2017. Alice has been around for almost Five decades now and at 69, the man still has an enigmatic voice and pelting out rollicking numbers. This album sees a lot of featuring artists with the likes of ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons, U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr., Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover, as well as a highly anticipated mini-reunion of the original Alice Cooper band members. The album has been produced by long-time collaborator Bob Ezrin (of Pink Floyd and Deep Purple fame).

The Album features two tracks performed by the original Alice Cooper band (Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway, and Michael Bruce, sans Glen Buxton) and collaborations with the Swedish songwriter and session guitarist Tommy Denander, Tommy Henriksen, Steve Hunter and more. Cooper fondly remembers his Original band from High school “When the original band broke up in 1975, there was no bad blood”. “There were no lawsuits-we had just burned out the creative process. We had had recorded something like five Platinum albums in a row. We were never out of sight of each other for 10 years. Everybody just went their own way. Neal, Dennis and I always stayed in touch. Mike disappeared for a while and Glen Buxton passed away in 1997, which was a big blow.” Continue reading »

The official video for the song ‘The Sound Of A’ from legendary rocker Alice Cooper can be seen below. The track has a special meaning; it is, in fact, the first song that Cooper wrote entirely on his own back in 1967. The song was forgotten until Dennis Dunaway, the bass player of the original Alice Cooper band, rediscovered it and played it to Alice, after which the two of them updated the song and then recorded it for the “Paranormal” album. With its psychedelic sound, swirling guitars and the mysterious Hammond organ, it is one of the most hypnotic songs on “Paranormal”.

‘The Sound Of A’ is going to be released on February 23, 2018, only a few days after Cooper‘s birthday. In addition to the title track, the single (available as limited-edition CD single, 10-inch white vinyl) includes four previously unreleased live songs recorded in Columbus, Ohio on May 6.
