Metal/Hardcore band Sleeping Giant (US) are one of the latest (heavy) names who have been announced for the annual Christmas Rock Night this December 12 & 13 in Ennepetal, Germany.
Other confirmed bands are RED (U.S), Disciple (U.S.), Wolves At The Gate (U.S.), Children 18:3 (U.S.), Sacrety (D) Safemode (S] Sleeping Romance (IT), Trip To Dover (NL), The Ongoing Concept (U.S), Manafest (CA) LZ7 (U.K), HB (FI], Staryend (D).
Sleeping Giant recently premiered a new song ‘Finished People’(Featuring Nathan of Xbalba and Joe of Advent). This will also serve as an initial offering from Sleeping Giant’s long awaited, 4th full length album, “Finished People”, which will be released on August 19th via Century Media Records. The album is the follow-up to “Kingdom Days in an Evil Age” which was released in 2011 via Ain’t No Grave Records. The song can be streamed below. Sleeping Giant represents a call to arms. More than a band, more than a group of close friends, Sleeping Giant is a unit of disciples who scream loud from deep in the underground to the highest of the heavens. The band will hit the road on the “Finished People Tour” presented by HM Magazine starting August 1 in Oklahoma City with This Or The Apocolypse, Phinehas, Those Fear and Silent Planet. Christmas Rock Night is a Christian music festival held annually during December in Ennepetal, Germany. The festival does not focus on particular styles of Christian music, but leans toward harder forms including metal and alternative. Founded in 1980, the first festival drew only three bands. Since then it has expanded to a two-three day event which regularly draws international artists such as POD, Disciple, Saviour Machine, Petra, Bride, and Split Level.The two day winter-festival Christmas Rock Night in Ennepetal [Germany] has been very well known for many years in Europe, due to the unprecedented strong rock/metal-programming. A rising number of Dutchmen find their way to the festival. Ennepetal is located in the Ruhrgebied, two hours from Utrecht and about one hour of the border and so it is good to reach with the car.
