Sicilian Artists For Charity a New Music Project Created by Salvo Grasso (Hypersonic, Metatrone, Astralium) and Rock Guitarist Salvo Calà Releases Remake of ‘We Are the World’

A new music project is born to support families particularly affected by the Covid-19 emergency. It is called “Sicilian Artists For Charity” and it is a project entirely for charity created by Salvo Grasso (Hypersonic, Metatrone, Astralium) and by the Sicilian rock guitarist Salvo Calà. Involved well-known musicians of the Sicilian rock and metal scene who have released the first song, with video, which is the remake of ‘We Are the World’ by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.

The song is revisited and rearranged in a symphonic rock key by Salvo Grasso with the support of two conservatory teachers, who intervened with violins and violas with the collaboration of guitarist Salvo Calà. The song will be linked to an iban through which it will be possible to donate a contribution to families in difficulty. Just this year, in this month, is the 35th anniversary of the release of the song and the entry to the first place in the world rankings.
