robert sweetLast thursday [Oct. 17] Stryper drummer Robert Sweet wrote the following on the facebook wall of his wife Victoria Sweet:

‘This is Robert Sweet himself:
Im excited to say it looks like soon, probably after the first of the year I will be working with a band called Confirmed I will keep you posted!’

Confirmed is a Christian rock/metal band dedicated to spreading the words of Christ for God the Father. Confirmed incorporates its hard hitting music into their energetic live show opening for major recording acts such as “Thousand Foot Krutch”, “Love & Death”, “Stryper”, “12 Stones”, “Nine Lashes”, “The Letter Black” and more. Confirmed consists of Donna on lead vocals, Michael on guitar, Joel on bass and Jonathan on drums with all three guys on backup vocals. They all met in church in early 2011 where they all discovered each others love for music and God so they decided to write and record music to honor Him.

Donna and Michael were previously in Metal band “Auralast” and opened for multi-platinum artists such as “Rob Zombie”,”Godsmack”, “Shinedown” “F5” featuring Dave Ellefson [Megadeth] etc. But in June of 2009 Donna was diagnosed with a terminal illness and was given 2 to 6 months to live, then in 2010 Michael was diagnosed with cancer and in 2011 he died on the operating table and also on the next day. God saved BOTH of them with inspiring miracles ! Now they live, write and play for GOD ! They intend to spread the message to the world that it’s cool to love God. Confirmed is ready for that mission !
