Grammy-nominated, RIAA-gold-selling rock band RED will release “The Evening Hate” EP on November 1 via Red Entertainment/The Fuel Music to digital outlets worldwide. The five-track EP features the lead single and title song, as well as follow-up single ‘From The Ashes‘, headed to radio October 25. The EP also includes the band’s latest cover song, its take on Fuel‘s No. 1 hit song “Hemorrhage (In My Hands)”.

“We all love music and are old enough to have some pretty big favorites over the years, but when Anthony [ArmstrongRED guitarist] suggested ‘Hemorrhage’, we all agreed and loved the song,” shares RED vocalist Michael Barnes. “It actually came together rather quickly and as an added bonus we were able to work with the original producer of the song on our version.”

Produced by Ben Grosse, known for mixing RED‘s albums as well as working with FuelBreaking BenjaminDisturbedAlter Bridge and many others, “Hemorrhage” is available today on all digital and streaming outlets around the world. The new track joins the eclectic collection of songs RED has covered both live and in the studio from as far back as Duran Duran‘s ‘Ordinary World‘, featured on the 10th anniversary of the Grammy-nominated album “Innocence & Instinct”, out last month, to ‘Unstoppable’ (originally by Sia) on RED‘s previous album, “Gone”.

RED, comprised of Barnes, identical twin brothers Anthony and Randy Armstrong (bass), and longtime live drummer Dan Johnson, will join In Flames for a 34-city major market tour across the U.S. and Canada this fall.
