Phinehas issued the following update: For the past year amidst 25 weeks of touring we have been working on something very special for all of you that comes straight from our hearts and our passion for music of all genres.
We are excited to announce that on January 8th 2013 we will be releasing “The Bridge Between EP.” It consists of 4 unplugged/acoustically arranged (3 of them from “thegodmachine” and one of them being brand new) songs, and 3 full band tracks that did not make the final cut of “thegodmachine” (1 of them has never been heard before) due to the album being 50 minutes long as it is.
We are so excited to share these songs with you as it will give you a clearer window into us as musicians and songwriters. Collectively we enjoy a vast amount of music ranging from Brand New to Born Of Osiris, so hopefully this will show you that “range” in our songwriting, taste, and ability.
The artwork for “The Bridge Between EP” was the original piece of art that made our jaw drop when we initially met the insanely talented Trent Tieso. As you know he went on to piece together the haunting artwork of “thegodmachine.” The cover of “The Bridge Between EP” is a real painting/mixed media piece and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!
