It is time to gather the FAMILY again! As all of you know making plans for the future became hard with this blasted virus, but the skull grinding metal train that is Nordic Fest, will not be stopped by negative thinking and worst-case scenarios. So….

We are proud to invite you ALL to the 14th edition of Nordic Fest. For the first time the festival can be experienced from your living room, as we are producing a 5-camera livestream with professional sound and picture. This is to welcome the entire extended Nordic Fest and Nordic Mission family to the venue we all hold close to our hearts: Sub Scene in downtown Oslo.

The stream will be available via our YouTube channel and is free to watch. With the help of Exodo Fest in Mexico and Die X Live in Chile, the streamed festival will also be available to Latin America, with some Spanish subtitles. Not only will the festival have bands playing, there will also be a live studio between the show including reports, interviews and greetings from the scene, news from Nordic Mission and a grand ending with the celebration of the Holy Communion. Be ready with wine and bread!

We will ask humbly for donations during and after the streamed festival. We accept PayPal, Vipps (Norway), Swish (Sweden) and Mercado Pago (Mexico). The money will help cover the production of this festival as well as helping the future of both Nordic Fest and Nordic Mission.

A little bit about this year’s bands:

CLOTH
Cloth is a 3-piece black metal outfit from the Southern parts of Norway, containing dynamic structures, and a classy ass production. They are a musical collective by members from Stronghold, DALIT and Aspiration. Black/avantgarde metal with a strong philosophical and allegorical backbone behind it all.

FLUKT
Flukt is a raw old school Black Metal band hailing from Vennesla, Norway. The band was launched during the fall of 2014 but from the dark mood and the aggression in the music, every metalhead will get a flashback to the good old days of Norwegian Black Metal in the 90s.

PANTOKRATOR
Pantokrator is a Progressive Death Metal band from Sweden. They say themselves that they come with the weight of the earth, speed of the winds, depth of the waters & the inspiration of Spirit.

MELECH
Melech consists of Ricke and Karl from the brutal Pantokrator and exists as an additional creative outlet. From the deep woods of Småland Sweden, you will find and enjoy the melodic death metal duo.

LEONOV
Leonov aims to encompass the chaos in the world, but also the hope that lies within us. Every tone is important to make this message come through. The expression of Leonovs songs are influenced by slow and heavy parts, floating tones and rhythmic breaks. The light and soft vocal breaks with the dark and heavy repetitive instruments.

RENASCENT
Renascent was formed in the snowy and dark forests of Finland in 2003 and has since delivered two full length albums with a melodic but aggressive blend of black and death metal. The symphonic elements accompany the bruteness of the riffs, making the music both melodic and dark.

Sincerely,
the Nordic Crew
